In education, we can learn a great deal from experimentation. Dr. Sharon Watkins, is the Principal/Executive Director of Academics at North Woods Career Prep HS. Her charter schools serve nontraditional students from age 15 to 21, the majority of whom are adults who have dropped out of a high school elsewhere and want to come back and earn a high school diploma. It's truly personalized learning; no two students have the same schedule because they each bring a unique transcript, unique needs and unique opportunities. The plan that her team wrote, Remote Plus, Plus, places all her students on a remote learning plan with some very interesting options – ideas that you can use in your own school or district immediately.
