Learning to go virtual and connecting with kids is no small feat. In this presentation, you’ll hear the team from Albany School District in Wyoming explain the very successful strategy they chose to make it happen. The presentation features professional development specialist Kate Kniss and teachers Amanda Lopez, Amanda Gribble and Maggie Gloss.
According to Lopez, “We did not have a virtual program before COVID. Everybody's going through some
growing pains and learning a lot of new things very rapidly this last year. Teachers were asked in some capacity with a few exceptions to jump into the virtual teaching. And so, it's been quite the learning curve. Today we are sharing a few tools that we've learned along this journey and how they relate to our students. We have found some wonderful tools out there, tons of them. Some are geared more towards content, whereas others connect more relationally with kids. We're finding ways to motivate children and get them engaged and connected with their learning. We all know relationship is key.”
Enjoy this presentation and learn about all the specific tools available to help you and your district connect with your students during this time of virtual and hybrid learning.
