LeiLani Cauthen of Learning Counsel News stopped to interview Remi Del Mar, Senior Product Manager for K-12 Projectors at Epson America during ISTE.

While the video didn’t all come out great, you can see Epson has been innovating with both screen size and exactly how the interactions can happen in real time in a classroom.  For example, Del Mar mentioned that different teachers will want to use different configurations which may or may not include considerations about the use of a digital lectern, the size of the screen, the positioning based on the size of their classroom walls, and most off all, how “tethered” the teacher is in proximity to the board.  Roaming-while-teaching is enabled so that the teacher is still using the visuals and interactivity while walking around and interacting at the same time.

Certainly, Epson is a company to consider in terms of their adaptability to both school classroom layouts and the preferences of individual teachers for how they teach by different subjects.
