Impero Software is delighted to announce further investment of almost 6 million pounds (or just over 7.8 million U.S. dollars) from existing shareholders after the company had a record year for sales. Following its acquisition in 2017, Impero reached a number of milestones -- announcing a series of product releases, opening a U.S. office in Austin, Texas, establishing a sales operation in the UAE and hiring a number of senior executives to bolster its management team. This funding will be used to accelerate projected growth in the UK, U.S. and international schools market, and to continue to develop Impero's product suite.

This investment will, in part, be used to make key hires in these core territories, as well to accelerate growth in new target markets. 2020 will also see major enhancements to our cloud solutions and an acceleration of our product roadmaps. The feedback from key customers on our new designs has been overwhelmingly positive and we are keen to get it into the hands of teachers and parents as quickly as we can.”
