Technology company DisplayNote announces a new version of their one-to-many screen sharing tool, Broadcast.

Made for teachers and learners, Broadcast is a simple tool that allows teachers to share their computer screens directly to their students’ devices in real-time, making content more accessible and engaging.

Teachers can now add annotations to their live screen shares and capture these as slides. These can be saved to their devices or shared directly to Google Slides or Google Classroom.

“While talking to educators, we uncovered a two-click saturation when it comes to classroom technology; it needs to be quick, simple and intuitive,” said Luke McSorley, Product Manager at DisplayNote. “This update makes it easier than ever to share your screen and get all students on the same page.”

The new integration also allows presenters to share the Broadcast join link directly to Google Classroom. Students are then notified digitally and can join the Broadcast by simply clicking the link. This allows the teacher to focus on what really matters—the lesson.
