CatchOn, an expansive data analytics and application monitoring tool for K–12 schools, announced today that it has joined the Google for Education Integrated Solutions Initiative. Through this collaboration, districts will be able to gain more visibility into the applications being used on their school devices using CatchOn integrations available with Google Drive, Sheets, and Google Data Studio.
These integrations will enable educational leaders to leverage usage analytics to better inform instruction and identify and track correlations between their benchmark assessment results and EdTech investments.
“With the increasing number of threats to student data privacy, the rapid shift to remote learning due to inclement weather and infectious diseases, and escalating EdTech investments, it is critical for school districts to track what online tools their students and teachers are using, both inside and outside of school,” says Jena Draper, founder of CatchOn. “We are thrilled to work with Google for Education to empower districts with the actionable data they need to improve learning, inform training programs, track their ROI, and safeguard student privacy. These integrations will make it simple for CatchOn customers to add their usage data to their customized Google Data Studio dashboards and attain that big picture view that many districts desire and need.”
