After an evidence record is uploaded, it’s automatically added to the Edsby evidence stream and associated with relevant students, simplifying the process of tracking growth. Each student is identified with a unique QR code that can be scanned to associate evidence with their Learning Story stream, and tagged with applicable expectations, standards and outcomes.

Characteristics:
Edsby Capture is narrowly focused. Intended as a companion to the main Edsby mobile app, it includes only the functionality needed for a teacher to capture images, video and audio of students’ learning and save them to their Edsby cloud-based system. After logging in, an educator records learning evidence and then assigns it to one or more of their students. Evidence can be tagged against standards, expectations or outcomes, shared with parents and referenced at reporting time. No media is stored on the mobile device for security.
